Windows 8

Hi guys!

I got my Samsung computer with Windows 8 yesterday~ thought I can tell you about it. :)

• So, you can download apps now and programs still, too, There's a Microsoft store to download apps.
• You can still store files~ music, pictures, videos, movies, and documents
• Start menu is not on taskbar anymore...
• and more...

You need to buy! buy! buy! I'm telling you it's awesome ;)

Programs, Apps, and Websites to Make You Work

I just got my Windows 8 computer and I thought I could blog some apps for education.

• Windows Notepad....Of Course we all need a word processer for work.
• Calculator for Math
• Paint for skitches
• Google Earth for planets, stars.
• Dropbox for file storage
• Monarch is what I do my work on for homeschool
• and....finally, last one...Evernote, for notes everywhere.

Flipborad, my new favorite app....

OK, so a couple of days ago, I discovered a new app called Flipborad. I can read the news about anything... and I have some of my social networks at once.. like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Flickr, and more... I think this can be helpful. Avaible for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

iPad is a computer....

OK, some people do not think a iPad is not like a computer. Well, right now I am listing some things why it is JUST LIKE  a computer.

1. You can print things off of ipad
2. Email...just like a computer
3. Web browser is bulit but no flash... you can search for flash web broswers on the app store.
4. FaceTime...just like on the Mac computer.
5. Download Dropbox to have all your files
6. Use Evernote for typing work
7. and I am sure there is more that I can't think right top of my head...

Evernote is great for school

This coming homeschool year, (yes I am homeschooled) I will use Evernote for organizing and taking notes for work. I thought to myself this would be a wonderful idea! I have it now on my ipad/computer and my android/smartphone....
